INTRODUCTION

Vendor Development Programme is one of UDA initiatives to enhance Bumiputera economic agenda. There are about 20 Bumiputera Vendor companies registered with UDA to supply construction materials and its related services. Currently most of the products supplied by these vendors are being used in UDA development projects. 

1. Programme’s Objectives.

  1. UDA aiding suitable manufacturers of construction materials to be a supplier for UDA projects; and
  2. To strengthen and improve Bumiputra entrepreneurs that are actively involved in the manufacture of construction materials that are suitable for usage in UDA’s projects.

2. Entry Requirements.

  1. Companies whose equity and management are owned and controlled by Bumiputra;
  2. Must have own factory and the capability to continuously supply the products;
  3. Products with quality and comply with the specifications and standards of quality accreditation bodies like SIRIM.
